Good looking hotel with lovely courtyard and quaint shop. Nicely restaurant with friendly and helpful staff in both. Would have been a five but for the broken sofa in our room (room 10). Also on our first night ( a Fri) the noise from outside of the hotel was diatracting. It's set in a very small road but this seemed traversed by every returning drunk. Every other night was fine so maybe we were unlucky. Food in the restaurant was excellent and a great wine tasting with expert advice. Some impressive nearby sights and a beautiful steam railway. I would recommend, take earplugs just in case.
The noise in the hotel starts from very early in the morning, with the staff shouting to each other of what things they need for each room. Pretty far from a restful break in all honesty and if you want any privacy in the room then I'd suggest putting a towel at the bottom of the door to your room as they all have an inch or so gap. However the staff are friendly

Hotel very central. Lack of signage to find it. Parking plentyfull. Helpful reception. Our room was 47. Top of Hotel. Lots of different stairs with Fire Doors. A very long way up. Could be a major problem for some people. Room on the front. Great views . Room was just adequate . Breakfast is self service literary you have to brew your own tea etc. Only saw two staff. A little school girl collected our empty plates after we put them on another table. Stay was just adequate but not the must return feeling.
Hotel was ok, quite quirky. Took a while to get parked but right in the centre of town. Was a busy Saturday night with live music so staff were stretched. It was 27 degrees the night we stayed with no fan or AC in the room so it was a little uncomfortable and a fair bit of after hour noise in the car park which our room was directly above. All in All a prime location for seeing Llangollen and the aqueduct and just a stone throw (1hr) from Snowdonia. Heineken on draught always a winner for me.

Lunch on way home. Called in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the decor and warm reception. Also the great view of the river and the steam railway based on Thomas the Tank Engine. Food was very good.
We had a lovely short break at this hotel. The staff were excellent, particularly I should name Simon who was particularly kind and helpful with my elderly mum. The location is 5 star, as are the staff. The hotel itself needs some tlc, but the decking area, the views of the river and steam railway line are fab, and make it!! The rooms are fine, clean comfy beds and good showers. The food we found good, we had a full english breakfast each morning and had our evening meal there on our first night, and we thoroughly enjoyed the food! Thanks to all of the team at White Waters for a lovely stay!

This is an amazing pub with friendly great staff. The food in this pub is first-class and has a wonderful menu. I'm a vegetarian and had an amazing choice of food. The location of this pub on the river is very tranquil and beautiful. There are plenty of seats and tables available and the food always arrives quickly. I've eaten here quite a few times and will continue to do so. 😎😎😎😎
For a light bite I'd really recommend their Macaroni Cheese with a side of Home Fried Chips. I say light bite, it'll either leave you defeated or wanting more. Very well seasoned and perfect if you have an empty stomach. The view of the rapids is very nice too. Pat on the back deserved by the staff.

Lovely food, never had a bad meal all the times we have been there. Very friendly pub. Do brilliant selection of gluten free food as well. Well worth a visit.
Beautiful pub. On the road and also just 2mins from the canal. Great views down the valley. Good selection of ales served by very engaging bar staff. A proper homely feel. Food looked good as well.

Really nice place to stay. Would definitely stay again. Had a really friendly welcome from the owner with cake & beer in the fridge. About a 10-15 minute walk down the, at times, very steep hill into Llangollen, a bit longer walking all the way back up but good fun. Scenery around & about is absolutely stunning, well it is North Wales after all so wouldn't expect anything less. We had a lush week. The photo was an early morning shot from our bedroom window.
Beautiful barn in a lovely quiet location, well stocked and spotlessly clean .

Beautiful B&B in scenic environment outside Llangollen, very cozy and comfortable. Sarah and Eddie are very nice, warm-hearted and caring people who did everything to make us feel at home!!!
If you want to feel like in Tolkiens Shire, it's a place to be. Beautiful and affordable place with lovely owners.
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!

This is an amazing camp site. I stayed here with my partner and friends and we all really enjoyed our stay. The owner is so friendly and accommodating, this felt like home from home. The toilet and shower facilities are extremely clean, as is the camp site itself. The surrounding views are stunning, this is the most picturesque camp site I've ever stayed at. Great location - just a short walk into Llangollen town and we hiked up to the castle ruins at the top of the hill. I would definitely stay here again and would not hesitate to recommend Wern Isaf Farm :)
Very nice small campsite, lovely owner. Super pitches on left and a field on the right for campers and caravans, also had hook ups. £23 for one night in June on a super pitch. Just felt overlooked by the statics and caravans as we were in the middle of the seasonal pitches. Good showers for 20p. Clean site. Narrow lanes to get to it

A great place. Basic, but when you just need to chill, it is fine. 5 minutes walk to Horseshoe Falls.
Lovely place for a caravan stop off if you are in the club. Excellent hosts in well kept grounds. Electricity and water so you need your own facilities but lovely scenery and well placed for loads of local attractions.
