Another great day at Llangollen Railway. We had a tasty snack in their newest cafe, The Carriage - they do gorgeous afternoon teas but we weren't hungry enough for that - followed by a wander round the antique shops in town, then a lovely trip on the train along the beautiful Dee Valley to Corwen and back. The dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers are always happy to chat about the railway to interested visitors. The trains, carriages and stations are beautifully maintained. The stations have lovely period features and well tended gardens and each has a small cafe. The carriages are all comfortable and kept very clean, again by volunteers. A great trip down memory lane!
Excellent day out on the train and lovely scenery. Nice walk round the little villages also. Very enjoyable indeed. Train price at €16pp I thought was very expensive and probably why it was quiet. Under a tenner would be better.

Llangollen Wharf, Wharf Hill, Llangollen LL20 8TA, UK – 01978 860702
The wharf sits above the town with great views of Llangollen. Its a bit of a climb but well worth it. From here u can take lovely boat trips along with canal with one boat being pulled by huge shire horses. Look out for hercules. U may want to walk along the footpath to the eisteddfod site, all very nice. After all that you can enjoy coffee and cake or whatever in the lovely cafe. It's a great day out.
We had a lovely day. Weather was overcast but dry(you really need a dry day). We had a cream tea on board and all enjoyed it.

WOW!!! My new favourite sport 😀 The pics and videos don’t even do this activity justice. So much fun through the most beautiful countryside. I haven’t stopped talking about it to my friends all day and can’t wait to come back to do it again! Thank you Sana for brilliant guidance and an epic afternoon!
Me and my wife went white water rafting over the weekend. Really enjoyed the experience. Very well organised and staff are really friendly. We will definitely be returning to have another go or try something new.

Lovely trip for the family. It's just 45 minutes and great views and lovely to see some nature too! I would recommend. The cafe is lovely too. We met the horses Hercules and Harley who were lovely.
Fantastic experience offered on both horse drawn boats and motor boats being on the larger side I did find the tables on the Thomas Telford a little too close for comfort lol, but for the price of the trips its a great day out the cafe/tea room is awesome too gr8 food highly recommend
